re-nourishment
We begin our photo gallery presentation series in introducing to the public
our beautiful building Starlight Tower and landmark of St Pete Beach Florida
with 2 aerial pictures which will allow the viewer to enjoy a panoramic and
breathtaking view of the unique location our magnificent home is located
guarding as faithful sentinel the northernmost point of the beach and
overlooking the Blind Pass and Treasure island! Wow!

Since the 50's era that Starlight Tower came to life, is one of the most
photographed buildings in St Pete Beach. You have to try really hard to find
a cart postal or placemat depicting the beach area that you will not find it
there.

Google Earth satellite picture of Starlight Tower a couple of years ago
before the beach re-nourishment project of St Pete Beach commenced depicting
view from the Gulf of Mexico to land.

Another Google Earth satellite picture of Starlight Tower with view from
land to the Gulf of Mexico where you can see better the private garage
buildings, the Office of the Association and the open parking spaces.
Starlight Tower with its impressive stature imaginative architecture design
and exceptional location stands out from all other buildings. Yes, there are
many beautiful other buildings in the area but none of them is build right
in the water! And not only that but its foundation goes so deep that another
5 floors could be added on top of the existing! The first picture on this
page has been taken from a placemat (that
explains the glare of the flash) purchased 17 years ago when we were using
the concrete staircase from our grounds to enter the Gulf of Mexico. Now the
landscape of the beach has changed and once again we do have a good amount
of sand in front of our building. See the next photo gallery
with pictures taken by Kevin Hing a fellow Starlighter illustrating the
progress of the current re-nourishment project of St Pete Beach.
